I can’t tell you how important I think travel is. It’s so valuable to get out of your routine and see how the rest of the world lives. It’s where most of my creative and life changing thinking happens.

This is a picture my boyfriend, (I know - at my age!) Mark LaFavor took almost exactly a year ago in Positano Italy. I was thinking of launching my food business at that point. I was able to make those plans overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea.
We stayed in a villa, an apartment really, which inspired us to let go of our large house and build out a condo. This was something we actually had never even discussed. Now a year later, the business is up and running and we are free of lawn care and roof repair.

O.K., so all that being said after all of this, I do need a vacation! That probably won’t happen until I’ve had a solid year in business, so this pic is my screensaver. It’s there to remind me how different my world looks when I get out of it for a while.

By the way Minnesotans - cabins are great but don’t achieve the same results!
