What is the Bonicelli Food Philosophy?

We believe that a meal should be fresh, delicious, nutritious, and enjoyable. We create meals that demand to be savored and encourage our clients to take time to experience them.

How do I reheat my food?

Most of the re-heatable meals come in special packaging that is designed to be set in simmering water for 7 to 8 minutes. Simmering water means bubbles coming up - but not boiling. You remove the package from the water and carefully cut the packaging open to plate. They can also be reheated after a corner is clipped open in a microwave, but the quality of the food could be somewhat diminished.

Why is simmering my food better than microwaving?

Microwaving can be uneven and overcook portions of the meal. Reheating your food in simmering water ensures that your food will be reheated evenly and not be overcooked.

Can I lose weight on this program?

This is not a weight loss diet. It is calorically based on a healthy average for men and women to maintain proper weight. However, it is possible to lose weight depending on your activity level and current weight.

What is Sous Vide Packaging?

Sous vide is one of the oldest cooking methods in history. The modern version uses plastic oxygen barriers to increase the quality, safety, and taste of food. When the vacuum-seal packaged food is reheated in a gentle simmer, the results are superior texture, amplified flavors and an enhanced meal experience over standard frozen and microwaved food.

I'm outside of your delivery area. What can I do?

What if I can't be home?

You have your choice of two delivery times. If neither of those work you can have your order delivered to a neighbor or select somewhere else within our delivery area.

I have to go out to dinner. What are my options?

The re-heatable food is freezable in it's bag. It can be reheated in simmering water in 10 to 12 minutes.

I have a food allergy. I don't like olives. What are my options?
